Safety First Reverses Preventive Measures: 2016 Fire Drill of Jiangnan Group

In order to carry out in-depth fire prevention and publicity work, and further strengthen the fire safety awareness and fire escape skills of the staff, on October 19, Jiangnan Group invited officers and soldiers of Yixing Fire Brigade to carry out fire safety education and practical drill activities in the company.

The fire safety drill was divided into three parts:

1. Lecture on fire safety knowledge

On the lecture, Mr. Chen, the chief of publicity section of fire brigade, explained the fire safety knowledge and general knowledge of safety self-help to the staff, enhanced the awareness of self-safety protection, mastered the escape skills and the use of related fire equipment, and improved the ability to deal with emergencies.

2. the use of fire extinguishers

Entering the practical session, fire officials simulated on-site how to extinguish the fire for the burning state of liquefied petroleum gas tanks, flammable materials for the exercise.

3. Fire hose drill 

In the process of the drill, the staff of Jiangnan Group studied carefully and experienced the process of using fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to put out the fire, so as to keep the fire fighting knowledge in their mind in the real sense.

Jiangnan Group always takes safety as the first priority of the enterprise, and holds fire drills every year to enhance the safety awareness and prevention, so that the fire safety alarm is always ringing. This drill strengthened the staff's awareness of fire safety and enhanced their ability of fire emergency response in the way of practical exercise, which laid a solid foundation for the continuous development of the enterprise's production safety work.
