From August 16-21, the 2015 International Large Grid Committee and Asia-Pacific Regional Council Meeting was held in Malaysia, with members from 42 countries and regions attending the meeting. The theme of the meeting was "Challenges and Opportunities: Building an Integrated and Interconnected Transmission Grid". The main purpose of the meeting is to understand the development direction of international cable technology and engineering, the latest research results and the progress of major projects, to obtain the latest international experience in the development of new products, cable network construction, line operation and maintenance, cable testing, etc., to provide a platform for the exchange of science and technology and information on power generation and high-voltage transmission between countries, and to play a positive role in the international cooperation and trade of domestic cable enterprises.
