Solar cable

Solar Cable line refers to the application of solar photovoltaic power station system in the DC side of the circuit of the electrical energy transmission used in the cable, with high and low temperature resistance, anti-ultraviolet radiation, waterproof, anti-salt spray, anti-weak acid and alkali, anti-aging, flame retardant good and other excellent physical characteristics. Solar Cable is also known as Solar Cable, mainly used in harsh climatic conditions; commonly used models are PV1-F, H1Z2Z2-K.

Solar cable performance introduction

1.DC resistance

The DC resistance of the conductive core of the finished cable at 20℃ is not more than 5.09Ω/km.

 

2.Immersion voltage test

Finished cable (20m) in (20 ± 5)℃ water immersion time 1h after 5min voltage test (AC 6.5kV or DC 15kV) does not breakdown.

 

3. Long-term DC voltage resistance

Sample length 5m, into (85 ± 2) ℃ containing 3% sodium chloride (NaCl) in distilled water (240 ± 2) h, both ends exposed to the water surface 30cm. core and water DC 0.9kV voltage (conductive core connected to the positive pole, the water connected to the negative pole). Remove the specimen for immersion voltage test, the test voltage is AC 1kV, requires no breakdown.

 

4. Insulation resistance

Finished cable at 20 ℃ insulation resistance of not less than 1014Ω - cm.

The insulation resistance of finished cable at 90℃ is not less than 1011Ω-cm.

 

5. Sheath surface resistance

Finished cable sheath surface resistance should not be less than 109Ω.

Solar Cable Main Features

Types

Cables can be divided into DC cables and AC cables according to the system of PV power plant, and are classified as follows according to the different purposes and use environments:

 

DC cables are mostly used for: (1) series connection between modules and modules; (2) parallel connection between strings and between strings and DC distribution box (convergence box); (3) DC distribution box to inverter.

 

AC cables are mostly used for: (1) the connection between inverters and step-up transformers; (2) the connection between step-up transformers and distribution units; and (3) the connection between distribution units and the grid or users.

Scope of use

1Used for solar power station or solar facilities, equipment wiring and connection, comprehensive performance, weather resistance, adapt to a variety of global power plant environment use;

 

2As the connection cable of solar energy device, it can be used for outdoor installation under different climatic conditions, and it can be adapted to dry and humid indoor working environment;

 

3、This product according to 2PfG 1169/08.2007 applies to the maximum allowable 1.8kV (core-to-core, non-grounded system) DC voltage, in the photovoltaic system in the CD side of the use of single-core flexible cables (wires). The product is suitable for use under Class II safety class, the cable operates at ambient temperatures up to 90°C, and the cable can be used in parallel with multiple cables.

PV cable shall not be laid overhead, unless the metal protective layer is increased.
PV cable shall not be immersed in water for a long time, and prevent it from prolonged humid environment which may be caused by anti-industrial reasons.
PV cables shall not be buried directly in the soil.
